Raising Money for Unity Mural in Downtown Tempe

Downtown Tempe is getting more colorful. A building near the corner of Mill Ave and 5th St will soon be the site of a 60-foot mural focused on diversity and inclusion, thanks to the current class of Tempe Leadership.

Through this mural, local Tempe artist Isaac Caruso will create artwork to inspire unity while sharing a positive message in the community. His concept features notable figures from Tempe’s 150-year history. The interactive mural celebrates diversity and our heritage, starting with the Hohokam and ending in the present day. Each person portrayed in the mural will have a QR code for people to use and learn more about their impact on the Tempe community.
